MOMOYO TORIMITSU

It has been a long time since the tragedy event on sept. 11th 2001, I had been hearing about war, terrorist attack, every single day as a New Yorker.

 

I feel entire city has potential anxiety since then. Less people wearing camouflage pattern than before, but more army related toys at chain store.

 

“mimimi” is a giant teddy bear, balloon body suits. Everybody loves Teddy bear as its adorable shape.  But mimimi has no eyes and mouth, no face impression, you never know what is on his mind.

 

And it is completely covered with pink camouflage pattern, as if mimicking to the colorful city as a solder.
